Jenni Millmine, BA, Intern

Ms. Millmine is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Capella University, with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Counseling. Her professional foundation is grounded in early childhood education, with more than a decade of experience working with children and families across educational, community, and early intervention settings. Ms. Millmine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies from Rochester University. She is a student member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association. Her academic and professional background has provided her with extensive knowledge of child development, social-emotional functioning, and developmentally appropriate, play-based interventions.

 

Ms. Millmine has received specialized training in Trauma-Informed Care. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She believes healing and growth happen through connection, empathy, and consistent support, and she is committed to walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate challenges and build resilience. Ms. Millmine approaches her clinical work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, emphasizing emotional safety, consistency, and collaboration. She is committed to providing supportive, ethical, and developmentally appropriate care.
